Baroque Favorites

The wind quintet is a natural for contrapuntal Baroque music because the distinctly different tone colors of the five instruments makes it easy to follow the various voices. For that reason, my group uses Baroque works such as these in educational concerts to demonstrate counterpoint and instrumental timbre.
