Admiral Grantham March

Composed 1983 and dedicated to the Spring Wind Quintet.
Written in honor of the late RADM Emery Arden “Grant” Grantham USN (1914 – 1998), founding president of Chamber Music Hawaii, this cute little march includes a naval battle at the end, during which the strains of “Anchors Aweigh” can be heard through the din.
